Ingredients
- 1 head green cabbage
- 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz.)
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup long grain rice uncooked
- 2 tablespoons Ancho chili powder
- 1 pound ground beef
How To Make slow cooker meatball cabbage rolls

Step 1Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Place the cabbage head in the boiling water for about 3 minutes until the outer leaves begin to easily come off.

Step 2Pull off about 14 to 16 leaves. Remove the thick vein from the cabbage leaves. set aside.

Step 3Place 1/2 of the tomato sauce in a bowl. Add the onion, rice, chili powder, and some salt and pepper.

Step 4Place the ground beef on top and mix it in with your hands and roll into balls.

Step 5Place one ball of meat on top of each of the cabbage leaves.

Step 6Enclose the leaves around the meatballs. Lay in a slow cooker. Can stack them.

Step 7Pour the remaining tomato sauce over the top and cook for 8 hours.
