I adapted this recipe from Southern Living. I serve it with Zatarain's Yellow Rice, fixed according to package directions. It's been a big hit!

2 lb
smoked sausage, sliced
green pepper, finely chopped
1 c
chopped onion
4 clove
garlic, minced
1 (15 oz) can(s)
kidney beans, rinsed and drained
2 (15 oz) can(s)
chili beans with sauce
1 (15 oz) can(s)
tomato sauce
1 2/3 c
1 1/2 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
2 tsp
creole seasoning
3 Tbsp
sweet pepper sauce

How to Make Slow-Cooker Beans and Smoked Sausage


  • 1Cook sausage in skillet over medium-high heat until browned.
  • 2Place all ingredients in Crock Pot. Stir in sausage.
  • 3Cook on low for about 4 hours. Serve with Rice.
