Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large yellow onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 pound ground beef
- 15 ounces kidney beans, canned
- 15 ounces black beans, canned
- 15 ounces tomatoes, canned italian-style and diced
- 15 ounces tomato paste
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 dash sriracha sauce
- - mustard
- - sour creme
How To Make slightly spicy chili

Step 1Dice the onion and mince the garlic. Add both to a large pot with the olive oil and cook over medium heat until they are soft and transparent. Add the ground beef and continue to sauté until the beef is fully browned.

Step 2Drain the beans and add them to the pot along with the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, 1 cup water, and all of the ingredients for the chili seasoning. Add sriracha sauce. Stir until well combined. Place a lid on the pot and allow it to simmer over a low flame for at least 15 minutes, stirring occasionally (the flavor gets better the longer it simmers).

Step 3Scoop into bowls, add mustard and sour creme (if desired), and enjoy!
