OK this is a good stick to your ribs cold night or Sunday dish recipe. like a little crust with your shepherds pie. just fill a ready made pie crust with the ingredients and bake till the crust is a golden brown. I like to use the kind that you have to thaw and place in the pie pan by Pillsbury.

(if you are going to use a crust for this brown the meat in a separate skillet and spoon into bottom of the pie crust that you have lined a oven safe skillet with.)

mash your cooked potatoes to taste. make your favorite. then spoon this over your meat. start in the middle and work towards the sides. pressing down as you go but not to hard. pour just a little of the gravy over the potatoes and top this with the green beans.
  • Step 3
place three to four tsp of margarine or butter on top of the green beans and bake at 350 degrees on center rack till bubbling and or crust(if you used one) is golden brown. serve with crescents or biscuits if you didn't use a crust.
