This is a quick, easy and pretty dish. You don't even need to add any seasoning -- it's all in the rice package. You can add more shrimp or rice depending on your taste.

Ingredients

  • - bunch of green onions
  • - 1 lb. raw peeled shrimp
  • - 1 small package of mahatma yellow rice
  • - butter

How To Make shrimp & yellow rice

  • Step 1
    Peel shrimp and set aside.
  • Step 2
    Chop onions, [ I just chop them down to the white ] saute' down in butter. 
  • Step 3
    Add shrimp to onions
  • Step 4
    When shrimp are cooked, follow directions on rice package. I add a little less water than called for. All you do is pour water in over shrimp  & onions.  Rice will not be fluffy.
