an east coast grandma had this recipe and i got it.i altered it for a louisiana crabcake.

Ingredients

1 lb
crabmeat, fresh
1/4 c
mayonnaise
1
egg
1 tsp
mustard
1 tsp
worcestershire sauce
tabasco
dash
salt
pinch
pepper
pinch
1 c
fresh white bread crumbs

BREADING

1 1/2 c
bread crumbs

THE OIL TO FRY IN

1/4 c
butter
1/4 c
oil

How to Make sheris crab cakes

Step-by-Step

  • 1mix the crabmeat and the ingredients at the top,then refrigerate for about an hour.make a cake of it,kinda thick,then,take the cake,and put into the bread crumbs for the breading,then heat your oil and butter in a skillet,and when its hot,fry the crabcake,when browned on one side,flip to the other side,can serve with an aoili sauce or tartar sauce,or just eat as is.can freeze these also.
