This meal tasted so good I had to share it. The taste of the peppers and sausage had the mushrooms for picky eaters.

Ingredients

  • 1 package keilbasa sausage
  • 1 -2 cup mushrooms
  • 1 box penne
  • 3 medium green bell peppers
  • 1 - onions, yellow, medium
  • 1 bottle pasta sauce
  • 1-2 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil

How To Make sausage and peppers

  • Step 1
    Slice peppers and onions. Add 1-2 teaspoons of olive oil and sauteé onions and peppers until done.
  • Step 2
    Slice mushrooms and cut sausages. Add to onions and peppers. Simmer 5 - 10 minutes until done.
  • Step 3
    In a seperate pot, boil penne until al denté.
  • Step 4
    Strain excess water from pasta and add sausage pepper mix to pasta.
  • Step 5
    Heat up pasta sauce.
  • Step 6
    Serve pasta sauce over sausage and pasta.
