This was inspired by a video I saw of a lady making meatball Salisbury steak style. I didn't have the same ingredients, so I came up with this.

Ingredients

  • 4 hamburger patties
  • 1/4 cup beef Better Than Boullion
  • 2 tablespoons dried onions
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 3 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 8 ounces sliced mushrooms (optional)

How To Make salisbury steak mmb

  • Step 1
    Fry hamburger patties until nearly cooked all the way through. They will finish cooking in the gravy.
  • Step 2
    While the patties are cooking, add the beef Better than Boullion and dried onions to the hot water. Stir well.
  • Step 3
    Add the Better Than Bouillion mixture to the pan. Add the sliced mushrooms as well. Let simmer for about 15 minutes.
  • Step 4
    While that is simmering, mix up the slurry (corn starch and cold water). Add it to the pan and gently mix. Let simmer for at least 15 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
