raw pine nuts
garlic clove
1/2 c
basil leaves
medium red bell pepper
2 Tbsp
olive oil
1/4 c
vegetable stock
1/8 tsp
cayenne pepper
1 pinch
sea salt

How to Make Red Pepper Basil Creamy Pine Nut Pesto Sauce


  • 1Add pine nuts and garlic with olive oil to frying pan, toast on low heat for 2 minutes, then transfer to food processor, set aside
  • 2Place red pepper and cayenne pepper in frying pan with olive oil and sauté' for 5 minutes on medium heat
  • 3Transfer to food processor, then add basil leaves, vegetable stock, and sea salt to taste. Blend on high until creamy consistency. Serve over cooked pasta!
