Ingredients

  • 2 cups smoked ham cubed
  • 1/2 pound red beans soaked
  • 1 - onion chopped
  • 3 - garlic cloves diced
  • 3 - bay leaves
  • 1/2 cup parsley chopped
  • 1 - green bell pepper chopped
  • - worcestershire sauce to taste
  • - tobasco sauce to taste
  • - pepper to taste

How To Make red beans and rice

  • Step 1
    Add the first 6 ingredients to dutch oven and cook uncovered on low for 1 hour. Add the next 3 ingredients and cook uncovered for 1 more hour.
  • Step 2
    Serve with cooked white rice
