Ingredients
- 2 cups grated parmesan cheese,divided
- 2 packages (9 ounce) refrigerated four-cheese filled ravoili
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large vidalia sweet onion,peeled and sliced
- 1 pound ham steak,cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 4 tablespoons margarine
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tablespoon sea salt mixed with black pepper
- 1 tablespoon sweet and tangy seasoning
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded monterey jack cheese
- 1 cup thawed frozen green peas
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
How To Make ravioli au gratin with ham and peas.

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2Coat a 11-x 7-inch baking dish with cooking spray.Add 1 cup parmesan cheese all over the baking dish.

Step 3Cook ravoili according to package directions;drain and transfer to a large bowl.

Step 4Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.Add sliced onion,saute for 5 minutes.Add ham steak pieces and saute again for 5 minutes more,or until the onion is tender and the ham is lightly browned.

Step 5Use a slotted spoon,transfer ham and onion mixture to the bowl with ravoili.

Step 6Melt margarine in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat.Whisk in flour.Cook,whisking constantly,until the mixture is light golden brown,1 to 2 minutes.

Step 7Slowly whisk in milk,and bring to a boil;whisk vigorously to out any lumps.Whisk in sea salt/black pepper and sweet and tangy seasoning.

Step 8Remove from heat,and slowly whisk in shredded sharp cheddar and monterey jack cheese and 1/2 cup parmesan cheese,until melted.

Step 9Pour the cheese sauce over ham and onion mixture and ravoili;stir in green peas.

Step 10Transfer to a prepared baking dish.Sprinkle with bread crumbs and remaining parmesan cheese on top.

Step 11Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes,or until bubbly and golden brown.Serve warm.
