Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 8 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 packages 3 oz. pkgs. chicken flavored ramen noodles, broken into small pieces
- 3 cups milk
- 3/4 pound velveeta cheese, cubed
How To Make quick & easy broccoli cheese soup

Step 1Heat oil in a large dutch oven over medium high heat. Add the broccoli florets; toss to coat until crisp-tender, stirring frequently. Remove and set aside.

Step 2In the same dutch oven, melt the butter. Add the onion and cook until tender. Stir in the broth, garlic salt, and pepper and bring to a boil.

Step 3Break the noodles into pieces and add them to the pot along with the seasoning packets.

Step 4Reduce the heat to medium low and add the milk and cheese. Stir constantly until melted. Add the broccoli. Heat until warm and serve.
