    dove
  • 2 tbsp
    butter
  • 1 tbsp
    flour
  • 2 cup
    chicken broth, condensed
  • 1 med
    onion,quartered
  • 4
    sprigs of parsley
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste

How to Make POTTED DOVE

Step-by-Step

  1. rub the dove breasts with butter,then fry in hot oil until brown.place dove in a casserole dish.melt 2 tablespoons butter in skillet,blend in flour until smooth. add broth stirring until smooth,then add the remaining ingredients.except the dove simmer,stirring,until thickened.pour sauce over dove. bake, covered,at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
