Ingredients
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 pound bacon, cooked, drained and chopped
- 1/2 pound grated sierra da estrella cheese (swiss cheese may be substituted)
- 1 tablespoon chopped chives
- 2 - slightly beaten egg yolks
- 1 cup light cream
- 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon onion, chopped
- 1/4 pound linguica, thinly sliced
- 1 - (9" inch) pastry shell, unbaked
How To Make portuguese quiche (linguica-cheese pie)

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Combine all the ingredients except the linguicia and fill the pastry shell with the mixture.

Step 3Sprinkle the slices of linguica over the top.

Step 4Bake in oven for 20 to 30 minutes, or until center of quiche is firm.
