Ingredients
- 1 - onion sauteed
- 6 cups mashed potatoes
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 box pot pit or bow tie noodles cooked
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons butter
- - sour cream
How To Make pierogie casserol

Step 1Cook noodles until al dente, and drain

Step 2Saute onion in 4 tbs butter

Step 3make mashed potatoes as you normally do. Add salt and pepper.

Step 4Mix potatoes, onion, and 3/4 of the shredded cheese

Step 5In a greased casserol dish layer 1/2 of the cooked noodles. Top with half of the potatoe mix. Repeat layers. Sprinkle last of cheese on top

Step 6Bake at 375 for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Serve with sour cream.
