Ingredients

onion sauteed
6 c
mashed potatoes
2 c
cheddar cheese, shredded
1 box
pot pit or bow tie noodles cooked
1 tsp
pepper
1 tsp
salt
4 Tbsp
butter
sour cream

How to Make Pierogie Casserol

Step-by-Step

  • 1Cook noodles until al dente, and drain
  • 2Saute onion in 4 tbs butter
  • 3make mashed potatoes as you normally do. Add salt and pepper.
  • 4Mix potatoes, onion, and 3/4 of the shredded cheese
  • 5In a greased casserol dish layer 1/2 of the cooked noodles. Top with half of the potatoe mix. Repeat layers. Sprinkle last of cheese on top
  • 6Bake at 375 for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Serve with sour cream.
