This is a favorite dish to make when the weather is cold. Great by itself but I usually serve hot dogs with the beans for a filling meal,which my husband prefers, or good with cornbread

Ingredients

  • - 1 lb lean ground beef
  • - 1 c minced onion
  • - 3-4 cloves garlic,minced
  • - 3 oz tomato paste
  • - 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • - salt and pepper,to taste
  • - 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • - 2 c cooked pinto or black beans
  • - 2 c tomato sauce
  • - 3 c water
  • - dash liquid hot sauce( i like texas pete)
  • - 1/2 lb hot links,sliced

How To Make patsy's chili beans

  • Step 1
    In a skillet,brown ground beef. Add onion and garlic until onion is tender. Pour into large pot.Add seasonings and cook a few minutes to cook spices a bit. Add remaining ingredients except hot links. Cook 1 hour. turn off heat,stir in hot links. Let sit 15-20 minutes.
