Found on a Swiss website for ZWT7. :) This recipe can easily made either meatless or with meat by replacing part of the mushrooms with small pieces of veal.

Ingredients

1 lb
puff pastry shells
2 Tbsp
butter
1 large
shallot, minced
1 clove
garlic, minced
1 3/4 lb
small mushrooms, quartered
1/2 c
white wine
3/4 c
half-and-half
1/2 c
cream
1 tsp
curry powder
1 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp
paprika
1/4 tsp
freshly grated nutmeg
1/2 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
pepper

How to Make Pastetli (Swiss Meat or Meatlesspie)

Step-by-Step

  • 1Bake 6 large pies made out of the puff-pastry for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  • 2Heat butter in a pot.
    Add shallot and clove of garlic, saute briefly.
  • 3Add white wine and mushrooms, mix, cover and cook for about 5 minutes.
    Increase heat, cook in open pot until half of the fluid has gone.
  • 4Add half and half and cream.
    Add curry, worcestershire sauce, paprika, nutmeg, pepper and salt.
  • 5Distribute the filling into the heated pies, serve immediately.
