used to make my own corn bread for this and various spices, ended up feeding 32 people on the holdays I had to find a simplier way and less time consuming way to make this so I improvised and ende up making only 3 trays for them less time less expensive, depending on your likes for oysters you can also use a pint and works out beautifully also

Ingredients
- 2 boxes savory herb dressing
- 1 quart select oysters( best when months have an " r" in them
- 1 - red pepper and yellow pepper
- 3 cloves garlic crushed
- 1 small onion
- 2 cans chicken broth, low salt
How To Make oyster dressing

Step 1cook dressing as dirercted on box, I use 1 can chicken broth in place of the water

Step 2rinse oysters, place in food processor with one can of chicken broth. set aside

Step 3clean peppers dice into small pieces, crush garlic with a press. Add, to oysters and pulse several times. in a large skillet sauté oyster combo add old bay seasoning, lemon,hot sauce if you like I add all. cook down 5 minutes \. add mixture with dressing, place in lightly greased 9x12 glass pan (not necessary) bake at 375 for approx. 45 minutes. Or until the knife inserted comes clean. you can make this recipe in advance and freeze if needed.
