I often make this sandwich for my husband and me. You could also use it as your main entree' by just adding soup or a salad on the side. It is so good, you may want more than one slice.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices white bread
  • - margarine
  • 1 large ripe tomato, sliced
  • - oregano, to taste
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 slices muenster cheese

How To Make open face tomato and muenster cheese sandwich

  • Step 1
    Spread margarine on each slice of bread. Add slices of tomato on each slice of bread. Sprinkle with dried oregano, salt and pepper to your taste.
  • Step 2
    Top each slice of bread with a slice of muenster cheese. Put under broiler for just a few minutes, until cheese melts and begins to turn brown. Keep watching since it doesn't take long for it to burn.
  • Step 3
    Remove from broiler and enjoy with soup or alone.
