I often make this sandwich for my husband and me. You could also use it as your main entree' by just adding soup or a salad on the side. It is so good, you may want more than one slice.

Ingredients

2 slice
white bread
margarine
1 large
ripe tomato, sliced
oregano, to taste
salt and pepper to taste
2 slice
muenster cheese

How to Make Open Face Tomato and Muenster Cheese Sandwich

Step-by-Step

  • 1Spread margarine on each slice of bread. Add slices of tomato on each slice of bread. Sprinkle with dried oregano, salt and pepper to your taste.
  • 2Top each slice of bread with a slice of muenster cheese. Put under broiler for just a few minutes, until cheese melts and begins to turn brown. Keep watching since it doesn't take long for it to burn.
  • 3Remove from broiler and enjoy with soup or alone.
