I often make this sandwich for my husband and me. You could also use it as your main entree' by just adding soup or a salad on the side. It is so good, you may want more than one slice.

- 2 slices white bread
- - margarine
- 1 large ripe tomato, sliced
- - oregano, to taste
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 2 slices muenster cheese
How To Make open face tomato and muenster cheese sandwich

Step 1Spread margarine on each slice of bread. Add slices of tomato on each slice of bread. Sprinkle with dried oregano, salt and pepper to your taste.

Step 2Top each slice of bread with a slice of muenster cheese. Put under broiler for just a few minutes, until cheese melts and begins to turn brown. Keep watching since it doesn't take long for it to burn.

Step 3Remove from broiler and enjoy with soup or alone.
