Ingredients

  • - japanese rice crackers (the ones with the seaweed wrap)
  • - hot brewed green tea
  • - steamed rice
  • - thinly cut seaweed
  • - black and white sesame seeds
  • - wasabi
  • - shoyu/tamari

How To Make ochazuke for 1

  • Step 1
    Brew the green tea.
  • Step 2
    Put the rice crackers in a small plastic bag then coarsely smash.
  • Step 3
    Place hot rice in a serving (rice) bowl, top with cracker pieces, seaweed, sesame seeds, and wasabi. Pour hot green tea over rice. Add shoyu/tamari, to taste.
