Ingredients For ochazuke for 1

  • japanese rice crackers (the ones with the seaweed wrap)
  • hot brewed green tea
  • steamed rice
  • thinly cut seaweed
  • black and white sesame seeds
  • wasabi
  • shoyu/tamari

How To Make ochazuke for 1

    Brew the green tea.
  • 2
    Put the rice crackers in a small plastic bag then coarsely smash.
  • 3
    Place hot rice in a serving (rice) bowl, top with cracker pieces, seaweed, sesame seeds, and wasabi. Pour hot green tea over rice. Add shoyu/tamari, to taste.
