I made up this recipe to enter in a Campbell soup contest when they came out with the Nacho Cheese soup. I didn't win, but it has been a family favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 can mushrooms drained (size debends on how much you like mushrooms.)
  • 4 ounces can diced green chilies
  • 2 cans campbells nacho cheese soup
  • 2 cans mexican stewed tomatoes
  • 3 cups uncooked elbow macaroni

How To Make nacho cheese goulash

  • Step 1
    Fry ground beef until thoroughly cooked. Drain cooked beef in a colander. Return drained beef to pan. Add onions and cook until onion are tender and clear.
  • Step 2
    Dice Mexican stewed tomatoes.
  • Step 3
    Add to meat mushrooms, cheese soup and stewed tomatoes that have been chopped. Cook on medium heat until well heated. Add some season salt to your taste.
  • Step 4
    Cook elbow macaroni according to package directions. Drain and add to beef mixture. Mix well and serve.
  • Step 5
    Can be served plain or add a Tablespoon of sour cream on top of each serving.
