I started making this chili when I didn't know how to cook. It has been a favorite ever since. Mouth watering Yum!

prep time 20 Min
cook time 2 Hr
method Stove Top
yield About 5- bowls full

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 large large can of chili beans. i like brooks hot chili beans
  • 1/2-1 package williams original chili seasoning
  • 1-2 - chopped onions
  • 1 - chopped green pepper
  • 1-2 can tomoatoes
  • 1 - clove chopped garlic
  • 1 - extra seasoning if desired. ie:sometimes rotell tomatoes for a very spicy chili

How To Make my favorite chili

  • Step 1
Saute meat, onions, and garlic till brown and then drain. Still in seasoning.
  • Step 2
Put meat in large sauce pan and add other ingredients. Stir
  • Step 3
Simmer on low for at least an hour. Taste test to see if more seasoning is needed. Serve with grated cheddar cheese and chopped green onion on top. Sides: Corn Bread or tortilla chips, Pear salad
  • Step 4
This chili is even better if made the day before and served for dinner. I also use the left overs in Chili omelets and Chili Dogs. Enjoy!
