My family has been making this dish for years. It has a more sweet taste than a tangy one or spicy. I eat it as a main dish but others may combine it with other things. Enjoy!!

Ingredients
- 3 cups white rice
- 1 1/2 pounds hamberger or ground turkey
- 3/4 cup diced bell pepper green
- 3/4 cup celery chopped
- 2 cans lg cans of tomato puree
- 1/2 cup sugar
How To Make my family's spanish rice

Step 1Cook the white rice and brown the hamberger or turkey drain cooked meat. Combine rice, meat, peppers, celery in a baking dish.

Step 2Add tomato puree until mixture is soupy. Then add sugar to taste. The sugar base on your taste.

Step 3Bake in 350 degree oven until celery and pepers are soft or slightly crunchy again this is how cooked you like them. Serve!

Step 4When reheating this dish if it is too dry you can add tomato juice to moisten. Most of the time I don't need too but you can.
