my creamy orechiette with bacon & spinach

I just bought a few containers of Philadelphia Cooking creme and threw some favorite items together and it was so quick,easy,and delish!Really yummy!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound cooked orechiette pasta {little ear-shapes}
  • 1 package 10 ounce size/philadelphia cream cooking sauce/savory garlic
  • 8 ounces mushrooms,fresh sliced {i like baby bellas for this}
  • 1 - red bell pepper,sliced
  • 1 - medium sweet onion,vidalia is best,sliced
  • 4 slices bacon cooked ,crispy,crumbled
  • 1 package 10 ounce frozen chopped spinach
  • - olive oil, extra virgin,for sauteing
  • - kosher salt and fresh black pepper to taste
  • 2 cloves minced fresh garlic

How To Make my creamy orechiette with bacon & spinach

  • Step 1
    Saute' in olive oil,red pepper,mushrooms,and onion slices
  • Step 2
    Add chopped spinach and minced garlic,cover and simmer till spinach thaws into sauce.(cover pan}
  • Step 3
    Add the Philly Cream sauce,stir in.
  • Step 4
    Add the crumbled bacon,stir in and simmer about 10 minutes.taste to see if salt or pepper is needed to your taste
  • Step 5
    Fold into cooked pasta,mix well.
  • Step 6
    You can use other pastas or noodles but this is so pretty with the red and green,and I love this pasta shape for this receipe.
