I got this recipe from a can of crescent rolls in 1981. It is easy and it fits that, "wanting something different" for dinner. This is different and tasty.

Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 1 (6oz) can tomato paste
- 1 (4oz) package mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano, dried
- - salt and pepper- to taste
- 1 (8oz) can refrigerated crescent rolls
How To Make mozzarella meat pie

Step 1Preheat oven to 375. Press crescents into 9-inch pie plate-closing perforations to form a crust. Flute edge.

Step 2Brown meat & onions; drain.

Step 3Add tomato paste, 1/2 cup cheese, and oregano; mix well.

Step 4Spoon meat mixture into crust and top with remaining cheese.

Step 5Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
