I got this recipe from a can of crescent rolls in 1981. It is easy and it fits that, "wanting something different" for dinner. This is different and tasty.

Ingredients For mozzarella meat pie

1 lblean ground beef

1/3 cchopped onion

1 (6oz) cantomato paste

1 (4oz) pkgmozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 tsporegano, dried

salt and pepper- to taste

1 (8oz) canrefrigerated crescent rolls
How To Make mozzarella meat pie

1Preheat oven to 375. Press crescents into 9-inch pie plate-closing perforations to form a crust. Flute edge.

2Brown meat & onions; drain.

3Add tomato paste, 1/2 cup cheese, and oregano; mix well.

4Spoon meat mixture into crust and top with remaining cheese.

5Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
