Ingredients
- 1 can campbell's tomato soup
- 4 ounces heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 can whole peeled tomatos
- 4 slices sourdough texas toast
- 4 slices monterey jack cheese
- 2 tablespoons non-salted butter
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon ketchup

How To Make monterey jack grilled cheese & tomato cream soup

Step 1Melt butter in medium saute' pan, and add bread slices to pan. Add cheese slices to bread and fry bottom to a toasty crust on outside, then add other slice and turn over.

Step 2Add Soup base and all ingredients except heavy cream to a soup pot. Mix well and heat to medium on stove top. Gradually add heavycream to pot after everything is mixed.

Step 3Serve with bowl inside a plate, add chopped fresh basil for garnish on top of soup with a little mont. jack cheese melting atop.
