Ingredients

  • 1 can campbell's tomato soup
  • 4 ounces heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 can whole peeled tomatos
  • 4 slices sourdough texas toast
  • 4 slices monterey jack cheese
  • 2 tablespoons non-salted butter
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • TOMATO-CREAM SOUP WITH MONTEREY JACK GRILLED CHEESE

How To Make monterey jack grilled cheese & tomato cream soup

  • Step 1
    Melt butter in medium saute' pan, and add bread slices to pan. Add cheese slices to bread and fry bottom to a toasty crust on outside, then add other slice and turn over.
  • Step 2
    Add Soup base and all ingredients except heavy cream to a soup pot. Mix well and heat to medium on stove top. Gradually add heavycream to pot after everything is mixed.
  • Step 3
    Serve with bowl inside a plate, add chopped fresh basil for garnish on top of soup with a little mont. jack cheese melting atop.
