How to Make Monterey Jack Grilled Cheese & Tomato Cream Soup
- Melt butter in medium saute' pan, and add bread slices to pan. Add cheese slices to bread and fry bottom to a toasty crust on outside, then add other slice and turn over.
- Add Soup base and all ingredients except heavy cream to a soup pot.
Mix well and heat to medium on stove top.
Gradually add heavycream to pot after everything is mixed. - Serve with bowl inside a plate, add chopped fresh basil for garnish on top of soup with a little mont. jack cheese melting atop.
