Ingredients For mom's meatloaf

  • 1 lb
    ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1/2 lb
    ground pork or ground beef
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 3 slice
    bread, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp
    celery salt, ground mustard, sage, and pepper
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/4 c
    onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • ketchup, optional

How To Make mom's meatloaf

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Put all ingredients except ketchup in a bowl. Mix well with hands, paying close attention to getting the meats thoroughly blended. Put meat mixture in a 9 x 5 loaf pan.

    Bake, uncovered, for 75 minutes. If using ketchup, spread over top of loaf after it's been in the oven for 60 minutes. Drain fat from loaf pan and serve.
