garlic
1/2 c
olive oil

large cans san marzano whole tomatoes
fresh basil
salt and pepper

How to Make MOM's GRAVY

Step-by-Step

  • 1Slice your garlic thin and brown in olive oil. Add tomatoes and crush with your hand or use potato masher. Add basil and seasonings. Add partially cooked meatballs. Bring to a boil, lower to a simmer and simmer for about 2 hours.
  • 2You don't have to add meatballs. You can just use it as a marinara sauce.
