And Mom, liked it cause it was easy, but, she would not let us eat it until it simmered about half an hour...Watch out can be a tad sloppy...
How to Make Mom's Easy Bar-b-que Ham Sandwich
- 1Chop ham up into smaller bites. I use a knife, down and across for bite size chunks.
- 2I use a dutch oven, makes it a one pot dish. Melt butter and add onions, cook until tender.
- 3Then in pot, add ketchup, water, and mustard, blend together, add chipped ham.
Stir and simmer, longer makes it better, next day is awesome.
- 4If you want, you can add the brown sugar, while simmering...that's how I do it, but good without it too.
