mom's easy bar-b-que ham sandwich
Quick sandwiches and good, Mom would double the batch, because we would eat it up like there was no tomorrow. And Mom, liked it cause it was easy, but, she would not let us eat it until it simmered about half an hour...Watch out can be a tad sloppy...

How To Make mom's easy bar-b-que ham sandwich
-
Step 1Chop ham up into smaller bites. I use a knife, down and across for bite size chunks.
-
Step 2I use a dutch oven, makes it a one pot dish. Melt butter and add onions, cook until tender.
-
Step 3Then in pot, add ketchup, water, and mustard, blend together, add chipped ham. Stir and simmer, longer makes it better, next day is awesome.
-
Step 4If you want, you can add the brown sugar, while simmering...that's how I do it, but good without it too.
