    green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1
    sweet onion, chopped
  • 1-32oz can(s)
    tomato juice
  • 1 pkg
    macaroni, elbow
  • 2-3 c
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp

How to Make Moms' Best Goulash


  1. Brown hamburger, drain grease. In Dutch oven saute bell pepper and onion in butter until crisp tender about 5 mins. Add hamburger,tomato juice, water ,salt and pepper.
  2. Bring to boil and add noodles. Reduce heat to about medium and cook covered. Stirring occassionally, until liquid reduced until slightly thicker.
  3. Serve with croissants.
