I grew up in the 70's and 80's and my mom used to make casserole's when I was young. This one I couldn't get enough of and now I make it for my husband and myself.

How to Make Mock Chop Suey

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. In a 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish, mix together the soups, rice, onion soup mix, and water. Brown your ground beef, onion, and garlic. Drain. Mix your meat in with your soups and rice until blended.
  2. Cover and bake for 45 minutes. Give a quick stir, leave cover off and bake for another 15 minutes. Will be a little thin. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to thicken up before serving.
