This is 1 of the many recipes that I have developed over my lifetime of outdoor life.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground venison
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 - 1 teaspoons chili powder (or to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon finely minced jalapeno pepper (or to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
How To Make mexican burgers

Step 1Combine all ingredients well and shape into 4 patties.

Step 2Grill, broil or pan fry to desired doneness.

Step 3Serve burgers on tortillas (cut burgers in 1/2 for a better fit), pita bread, English muffins or hamburger buns with traditional taco toppings of your choice.

Step 4The toppings might include salsa, shredded cheese, guacamole or chopped avocado, sour cream, lettuce and diced green onions.
