- 2 1/2 slices bacon
How To Make mat-o-bacon

Step 1Slice whole bacon pieces in half crosswise.

Step 2Slice all pieces lengthwise. This will give you 10 pieces with which to weave.

Step 3Weave in an over/under pattern

Step 4When the mat has been woven move to a hot pan and cook til crispy. Drain on paper towels

Step 5Add to any sandwich.
