THIS IS A PERFECT CHILI FOR THE GUYS TO TAKE TO THEIR MAN CAVES.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 pounds ground chuck
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 4 - garlic cloves finely chopped
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 12 ounces beer, not lite
  • 3 tablespoons good chili [powder
  • 6 - beef bouillon cubes
  • 2 tablespoons cumin
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons oregano
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander
  • 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon warm water

How To Make man cave chili

  • Step 1
    BROWN THE MEATS IN A DUTCH OVEN. DRAIN, RESERVING 2 TBLS. PUT THE RESERVED 2 TBLS. BACK IN PAN.
  • Step 2
    ADD THE GARLIC AND ONION AND COOK UNTIL TENDER.
  • Step 3
    ADD THE OTHER HALF OF THE MEAT, TOMATO SAUCE, WATER, BEER, CHILI POWDER, BOUILLON, CUMIN, PAPRIKA, OREGANO, SUGAR, CORIANDER, COCOA, AND HOT SAUCE. MIX WELL.
  • Step 4
    BRING TO A OIL, REDUCE HEAT TO A SIMMER. COVER AND SIMMER 2 HOURS.
  • Step 5
    IN A SMALL BOWL MIX CORNMEAL AND FLOUR TOGETHER, ADD WARM WATER AND MIX WELL. STIR INTO CHILI AND SIMMER COVERED ANOTHER 20 MINUTES.
