Mamma was a great cook! She loved crawfish almost as much as crab and shrimp! But this recipe is one of her best!

onion, finely chopped
1 clove
garlic, crushed
1 stick
2 - 3 Tbsp
bell pepper, chopped
2 lb
crawfish tail meat
1 1/2 lb
velveeta jalapena cheese, shredded
1 c
heavy cream
1 lb
fettucine noodles
parmesan cheese

How to Make Mamma's Crawfish Fettuccine


  • 1Saute onions, bell pepper and garlic in butter. Add flour, cooking andf stirring for about 5 minute.
  • 2Add crawfish and parsley.
  • 3Fold in Velveeta and heavy cream. Cook on low for about 30 minutes.
  • 4Cook noodles, drain and rinse.
  • 5Mix noodles and cheese sauce and pour into a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • 6Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.
