Louisiana Shrimp Etouffee

Ingredients

4 lbshrimp, peeled and deveined

1 cchopped onion
-
1/2 cchopped bell pepper

1/4 cchopped celery
-
1 stickmargarine or butter
-
8 ozcan tomato soup
-
·louisiana red hot, salt and pepper to taste

·cooked long grain rice
How to Make Louisiana Shrimp Etouffee
- Saute shrimp, the "Louisiana trinity" (onion, bell pepper and celery) in margarine.
- Add tomato soup and simmer about 30 to 40 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and Louisiana red hot sauce.
- Serve over rice with Louisiana red hot sauce on the side in case additional is desired.
