Crwfish, Shrimp, Oysters, Crabs....which do I like best? Depends on what I'm eating at the time!!!! I love this recipe using any of the above ingredients......

shrimp, peeled and roughly chopped
4 Tbsp
1 1/2 stick
3/4 c
3 c
pet milk
4 oz
american cheese, shredded
3 Tbsp
onion, minced
1/2 bunch
chopped green onion tops
salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Louisiana Shrimp Au Gratin


  • 1Saute shrimp in the 4 tablespoons butter,
  • 2In a separate pot, melt the rest of the butter. Stir in flour.
  • 3Add milk to make a white sauce. Bring to a boil.
  • 4Add cheese, onions, green onions and sauteed shrimp.;
  • 5Season with salt and pepper. Spoon into individual baking dishes and bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
