Crwfish, Shrimp, Oysters, Crabs....which do I like best? Depends on what I'm eating at the time!!!! I love this recipe using any of the above ingredients......

Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    shrimp, peeled and roughly chopped
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 1/2 stick
    butter
  • 3/4 c
    flour
  • 3 c
    pet milk
  • 4 oz
    american cheese, shredded
  • 3 Tbsp
    onion, minced
  • 1/2 bunch
    chopped green onion tops
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Louisiana Shrimp Au Gratin

Step-by-Step

  1. Saute shrimp in the 4 tablespoons butter,
  2. In a separate pot, melt the rest of the butter. Stir in flour.
  3. Add milk to make a white sauce. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add cheese, onions, green onions and sauteed shrimp.;
  5. Season with salt and pepper. Spoon into individual baking dishes and bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
