Ingredients
- 2 pounds shrimp, peeled and roughly chopped
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 3/4 cup flour
- 3 cups pet milk
- 4 ounces american cheese, shredded
- 3 tablespoons onion, minced
- 1/2 bunch chopped green onion tops
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make louisiana shrimp au gratin

Step 1Saute shrimp in the 4 tablespoons butter,

Step 2In a separate pot, melt the rest of the butter. Stir in flour.

Step 3Add milk to make a white sauce. Bring to a boil.

Step 4Add cheese, onions, green onions and sauteed shrimp.;

Step 5Season with salt and pepper. Spoon into individual baking dishes and bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
