A wonderful recipe from an elderly lady friend. I love having this as a "left over meal" too. Such good flavor, and a good substitute for the hum drum fried liver and onions.

- 6 slices bacon
- 1 pound beef liver
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 - 10 ounces beef broth
- - flour for dredging
- 1 - 2.8 ounces french fried onions
How To Make liver 'n onion bake

Step 1Cut bacon into bite size pieces. Fry until crisp.Remove from pan to paper towel. Cut liver into bite size pieces. Dredge lightly in flour and lightly brown on each side in bacon grease.

Step 2Place 1/3 can of F.F. Onions into the bottom of a greased 2 qt. baking dish. Top with liver.

Step 3Thoroughly combine soup, broth and bacon pieces, add 1/3 can F.F. Onions and pour over liver. Cover and bake @ 350* for 30 minutes.

Step 4Top with remaining F.F. Onions and bake uncovered another 5 minutes.
