knackworst and cabbage
Cooked this up for my husband today for our Easter meal. It was just us so tried something a little different. It was so easy and tasty! Stay safe!!

Ingredients
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 head of cabbage chopped
- 1 onion chopped
- 6-8 red onions quartered
- 1/2 stick butter
- 5 knackworst sausages
How To Make knackworst and cabbage

Step 1Boil sausages until center temp reads 165. Place sausages in hot skillet to sear skin a bit. Sit to the side.

Step 2In your heavy stock pot place your chopped cabbage, chopped onion, chopped potatoes and butter. Pour chicken broth over all. Salt and pepper to taste. Place lid on pot and let it boil down a bit.

Step 3I like to spiral cut the sausages just to let the juices run. Place sausages on top of cooked cabbage, onion and potato mixture. Cover after stirring and let it steam and come together.

Step 4This is great with brown mustard and bread.
