1You can do this in a large frying pan or in a casserole dish in the oven...350* for about 1 hr. I have also cooked this on the grill on an inverted pan in a foil pan with the grill lid closed! Medium heat though!!
2Add all ingredients EXCEPT pickle relish. Fry or Bake or Grill stirring a couple of times so the meat and potatoes crunch up.
3Just before serving add the pickle relish and warm. If you cook this with the relish, the sugar will burn everything!! Good with a hearty bread and butter to sop up the juices!
