kats baked-stewed beans

These beans are a family favorite .They can be a meal all by their self , but are wonderful served with pork loin , steak or BBQ.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound grilled hamburger patties
  • 1 pound grilled hillshire farm sausage
  • 3/4 pound cooked chopped pork bbq
  • 2 large sauteed onions (in olive oil)chopped
  • 1 large sauteed bell pepper (in olive oil)chopped
  • 1 large rotel tomatoes ( undrained )
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 cup cattlemans bbq sauce (or more to taste)
  • 2 cans 26 oz. bushs honey beans
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked frozen baby lima beans
  • 12 ounces cooked bacon (crumbled )
  • 1/2 cup sorgum syrup
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons tony chachere's
  • 1 teaspoon course black pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon williams rib tickler seasoning
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 small jalepeno (chopped and seeded) optional

How To Make kats baked-stewed beans

  • Step 1
    Saute onions and peppers till tender , add rotel tomatoes with juice , stir in beans and seasonings ,let simmer for 5-10 minutes on med. heat.
  • Step 2
    Add grilled hamburger , grilled sausage and chopped bbq pork .Stir in BBQ sauce , syrup , ketchup and brown sugar.
  • Step 3
    Simmer on low 15 -30 minutes , stirring often.Remove from stove top.
  • Step 4
    Crumble cooked bacon on top.
