Our son and daughter in law came up with this easy receipe. Freezes great. Now my husband and I almost always double it and freeze it in single serving portions for a really quick lunch or dinner. Thank you John and Renee

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can spicy chilli beans (store brand is great)
  • 2 cans del monte zesty diced tomatoes
  • 1 package lawry's chilli seasoning
  • 1/2 - onion, chopped

How To Make john and renee's chilli

  • Step 1
    Browned ground beef and chopped onion in a pan with a little olive oil. You can use more beef if you want it meatier.
  • Step 2
    Add tomatoes, beans, seasoning and stir. Do NOT drain any cans, just dump in.
  • Step 3
    Simmer. If you have time to simmer about 30 minutes, the flavors blend better.
  • Step 4
    Serve with more chopped onions if you like them, grated cheese. A salad and/or garlic bread make this a meal
