Ingredients For jambalaya

  • 1 lb
    pork, ground
  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 lb
    smoked sausage
  • sweet onion
  • celery
  • 1/4 c
    oil
  • 4 c
    uncooked long grain rice
  • salt
  • 7 c
    chicken broth
  • 2 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1 bunch
    green onions
  • parsley, fresh

How To Make jambalaya

  • 1
    Saute beef, pork and sausage until cooked thoroughly and drain grease. Saute onions and celery in oil and add to meat mixture when carmelized.
  • 2
    Add remaining ingredients and cook on medium-high heat until broth is absorbed by rice.
  • 3
    Stir and reduce heat to low and cook covered for about 20 minutes. Let stand covered for 10 minutes before serving.
