Ingredients

pork, ground
1 1/2 lb
ground beef
1 lb
smoked sausage
sweet onion
celery
1/4 c
oil
4 c
uncooked long grain rice
salt
7 c
chicken broth
2 tsp
cayenne pepper
1 bunch
green onions
parsley, fresh

How to Make Jambalaya

Step-by-Step

  • 1Saute beef, pork and sausage until cooked thoroughly and drain grease. Saute onions and celery in oil and add to meat mixture when carmelized.
  • 2Add remaining ingredients and cook on medium-high heat until broth is absorbed by rice.
  • 3Stir and reduce heat to low and cook covered for about 20 minutes. Let stand covered for 10 minutes before serving.
