How To Make italian poutine
-
Step 1In a pot over medium heat, add Italian sausage and ground beef. Break the meat into small pieces and cook until halfway done.
-
Step 2Add onions and red and green peppers; season with salt and black pepper. Stir very well and continue cooking until the meat is no longer pink.
-
Step 3Add pressed garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add Roma tomato and mix it in. Cook the mixture until the liquid is almost evaporated and the fat is melted, about 30 to 35 minutes; stirring frequently.
-
Step 4Add marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Stir until nicely incorporated, cover but leave the lid ajar, reduce the heat to medium-low and let it simmer gently for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
-
Step 5To assemble, place fries in a bowl followed by a generous amount of cheese curds and top with a few ladles of sauce; sprinkle on chopped parsley.
