I am a praying woman, I pray about everything. So when I was low on supplies and had a cookout to go to, wasn't sure what I was gonna cook. So I prayed and this is what the Lord sent me. so I call this my "God Recipe" :)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pkg
    hotdogs (uncooked)
  • 1 can(s)
    chili (with or without beans)
  • 1 small
    pan of cornbread, or leftover cornbread
  • 1/2 pkg
    shredded cheddar cheese, or your fav
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onions

How to Make Hotdog Cornbread casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Pour a can of chili in a saucepan. Slice hotdogs in a slant slice. (Crosswise) add to chili
  2. Simmer until hotdogs are done. In the meantime, crumble cornbread in a 1 to 1 1/2 qt casserole dish.
  3. Pour chili and hotdogs over cornbread. cover with cheese. Place in a 400 degree oven for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and slightly toasted.
