I got this from my kids elementary school cookbook years ago. I change it up by using Polish Sausage, and flavored instant mashed potatoes... It's easy, and yummy!!! Also, I use 2 instant potatoe mixes and add some of the cheese to the potatoes along with some garlic salt and nature's seasoning.....

Ingredients

1 box instant mashed potatoes
1 package hot dogs
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1 teaspoon seasoning salt

How To Make hotdog casserole

Step 1

Cook mashed potatoes as directed on box. Slice hot dogs, and mix into mashed potatoes. Transfer to a cooking dish, and smooth. Sprinkle cheese over top.

Step 2

Bake at 350 for 30 to 45 minutes depending on your oven. Ready to serve.
