Ingredients

  • 4 ounces rice noodles
  • 1 cup leafy greens like arugula or spinach or bok choy
  • 1 teaspoon each white soy sauce and dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon chinese black vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • pinch crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons peanut oil
  • chopped peanuts, cilantro and sesame seeds for garnish

How To Make hot oil noodles

  • Step 1
    Boil the noodles according to package directions. When they are almost done add the leafy green and blanch for a few seconds. Drain.
  • Step 2
    Place the noodles in a bowl. Mix the white soy sauce, dark soy sauce, black vinegar, sugar and red pepper flakes together. Pour over the noodles.
  • Step 3
    Place the oil in the same pan as noodles and add the garlic cook about 1 minute. Pour over the noodles. Garnish with nuts, sesame seeds, and cilantro
