hot dog picnic casserole
Had a friend when I lived in Southern Illinois that liked to make this casserole for the motorcycle club's picnic's. Very tasty.

Ingredients
- 1 lb - hot dogs cut in bite size pieces
- 2 lb - pork n beans (well drained)
- 3 - slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2T - bacon drippings
- 1 - nedium yellow onion, chopped
- 1 - medim green pepper, chopped
- 3/4 - cup catsup
- 2 1/2 T - brown sugar
- 2 T - worcestershire sauce
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make hot dog picnic casserole

Step 1Grease 1 1/2 quart casserole.

Step 2Add hotdogs, beans and bacon. Mix and set aside.

Step 3Combine bacon drippings, onions and pepper in a heavy skillet and cook over medium heat five minutes or till lightly browned.

Step 4Add remaining ingredients. Mix until well blended.

Step 5Pour over hot dog mixture and mix well.

Step 6Cover and bake for 1 hour in 350 oven.
