This Casserole is awesome to share at church gatherings, Pot Luck's and even at Work. The Hot Dog Casserole is also a conversation starter!! I love eating this with ketchup!

Ingredients

1/2 pkg
hot dogs
1 pkg
already shredded cheese
2 1/4 c
instant mashed potatoes
1 c
milk
3 Tbsp
butter
2 1/4 c
boiling water

How to Make Hot Dog Casserole

Step-by-Step

  • 1Pre heat oven to 350deg.
    Prepare the Instant mashed Potatoes as stated on the box.
  • 2Chop Hot Dogs up (set aside).
  • 3Open bag of Pre-shredded cheese (Your favorite)
  • 4Using a Pie pan or Casserole dish (preferably Glass)Layer the Hot Dogs, Cheese and Instant Mash Potatoes. Example:1st layer- Hot Dogs,Mash Potatoes, Cheese. 2nd layer Hot Dogs, Mash potatoes, cheese etc.
  • 5Place layered Hot Dog Casserole in Pre-Heated 350deg. oven for 30min or until cheese is melted and bubbling
    NOTE: You can use the microwave! Use a microwave safe dish and follow the same instructions from the recipe above. Cook on High for 10min or until Cheese is melted.
