Seen this Crock Pot recipe in one of the Local MN Newspapers years back and have always kept it on hand as hubby is a potato lover! Most men are... You can switch out the meat to one of your own preferences if you don't like Ham.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag hashbrowns (32 oz)
  • 2 - 8 oz containers cream cheese
  • 6 cups water
  • 7 teaspoons chicken bouilion
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cups cubed ham
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dillweed

How To Make hashbrown potato soup

  • Step 1
    Coat inside of Crock Pot with Olive Oil. Using a large bowl dissolve the chicken bouillon in the 6 cups warm water. Blend the cream cheese with the water. Add rest of the ingredients, stirring gently until well mixed.
  • Step 2
    Place all ingredients in crockpot and cook on high for 4 - 5 hours
